Uttarakhand Open University also known as UOU is a premier distance-learning university situated in the state of Uttarakhand. It is the only open university in the state that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university was established in 2005 and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the Distance Education Council (DEC).
The university has 240+ study centers, including Dehradun, Haldwani, Bageshwar, Roorkee, and Pauri, among others. The Uttarakhand Open University courses list includes UG, PG, and, Ph.D. courses like BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA, MA, MBA, M.Com, M.sc, etc.
